Don't write off newspapers By John Schenkenfelder The newspaper industry has been on the ropes for the last 10 years. Ad revenues, reader subscription and employment headcount have been declining as newsprint costs have risen. Readers have been drifting toward Internet news sources and television or radio broadcasts. Newspaper editions are getting smaller as companies struggle to cut costs. But don't be too quick to write off great dailies like The Courier-Journal and The New York Times.

Filed under: Laptops Okay, this is pretty much for the crazy keyboard aficionados out there, but the crew over at Laptop says there's a distinct difference between the keyboards on the black and white Eee PC laptops. They compared the 'boards on a white 701, black 4G Surf, and white 900, and while the two white Eees had identical keys, the black unit featured different switches with deeper keypresses and more tactile feedback, smaller spaces between the keys, and rougher plastic. Jump to the full entry & travel map London, England, United Kingdom We took an early flight back to London on the European airline Ryan Air. The journey ended up taking all day, unfortunately. all these trains, planes and buses! We got to our Piccadilly Hostel around 3:30 PM, got sandwiches and decided to go to the London Eye, a sort-of glass ferris wheel that you go up in for a half hour to see views of the cities.
